FRANCIS HWANG | CEO
Francis has over a decade of experience in creating, launching, and managing successful businesses. Having always gravitated towards enterprises and ideas that question and disrupt the status quo, it was a natural step for Francis to start Bucket Technologies. Coming up with the concept for Bucket over 10 years ago, Francis finally set aside other ventures to focus and commit to his mission of eliminating coins and alleviating the environmental and governmental stresses from the production, distribution, and management of coin currency.
Francis recently moved to Bentonville, Arkansas and when he isn’t working or traveling for Bucket you will find him off-roading with his wife Kristine in the Ozarks.
DANIEL KAM | PRESIDENT & COO
Daniel is a successful entrepreneur who has launched and built several businesses in the technology, managed services, manufacturing, and hospitality/F&B industries. He has over 20 years of B2B/B2C sales and marketing experience within various commercial sectors including cloud-commerce, telecommunications, and graphic arts. Daniel regularly speaks and networks with leading companies and organizations on topics such as leadership, innovation, branding, and operations management.
When Daniel is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 girls, cooking or going after big fish (literally, not metaphorically).
CHARLES LEE | ADVISOR
Charles is CEO at Ideation, an idea-making company that specializes in helping brands scale their business by effectively integrating their strategic plans into day-to-day implementation. Several brands including Google, TOMS, Toyota, Caterpillar, and ONE Campaign/(RED) have benefited from Ideation’s work. He is also the author of Good Idea. Now What?: How to Move Ideas to Execution, a practical book designed to help people move ideas to implementation. Charles is regularly invited to speak to leading brands on topics such as fostering creativity, disruptive innovation, idea-making, and brand strategy.

Mac has over 15 years of technology and marketing leadership experience in corporates, SMEs, and startups, in both the United States and Asia. His personal mission of leaving this world a better place than he found it made joining the Bucket team an easy fit. His ability to take technical solutions and create simple value propositions for end users has served him well in both B2B and B2C environments and is committed to Bucket’s mission of eliminating coins and alleviating the retailer and consumer stresses from the use and management of physical coin currency.
Mac’s past experience includes leading Boost Mobile’s Digital Media business, heading up marketing and service delivery for i-Admin, Asia’s premier payroll outsourcing provider, and launching a number of companies in Bangkok and Hong Kong. Mac received his B.S. in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, and an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He is also a certified Marshall Goldsmith executive coach.
MICHAEL OH | VP OF FINANCE STRATEGY
Michael has a background in international finance and macroeconomics and has worked in various capacities spanning investment management to corporate finance to government. Before joining Bucket, Michael spent 12 years at T. Rowe Price as a sovereign analyst covering emerging markets. There, he was responsible for fixed income and currency investment strategies for Latin America and high-yield Asia. Prior to that, Michael was an international economist with the U.S. Treasury, where he was responsible for formulating international debt policy for the U.S. government. He has also worked at ExxonMobil in corporate finance and Asian Development Bank in policy research.
MARCO FALCONI | VP OF ENGINEERING
Marco joined Bucket after seven years with Higher Logic as their Integrations Architect, where he designed and implemented enterprise-level integrations between client CRMs and the company’s core community and collaboration platform. He previously worked in a consulting capacity to help clients in implementing design patterns for achieving cultural and technical localization of web properties.
He has a passion for building scalable multi-tenant integrations that leverage native client capabilities to minimize total cost of ownership and support for all parties.
Marco has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Virginia.
MIKE SILVERS | PRODUCT MANAGER
Mike is the Product Manager for the technology component of Bucket Technologies. He has been working in various technology capacities since 1999, starting as a programmer on the IBM AS/400 Midrange platform and quickly growing into systems administration for Linux, network administration, web-based programming, mobile programming and cloud-based computing.
Mike has worked as a consultant and has serviced businesses in the banking sector, energy sector, healthcare sector, and many small businesses. He enjoys making information systems fulfill the needs of all stakeholders.
Mike lives in Washington, DC and has two daughters and one grandson.
He has a B.S. in Business Information Systems from Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.
FRANCINE LEODOLTER | DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Francine brings 12 years of experience in overall marketing strategy and tactical implementation. She has worked on online properties such as www.Edmunds.com, www.FIJIWater.com, and www.ACMoore.com where she was in charge of all SEO/SEM related marketing, directing and creating content for emails, blogs, social media posts, viral video production and banner advertising. Francine has also overseen several offline marketing projects which included, magazine advertisements, billboards, event marketing, sponsorships and mailers.
Francine has a B.S. in International Marketing from American University and is a certified SEO/SEM Marketer. When Francine is not working at her computer she enjoys hiking in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, rooting for her hometown Boston Red Sox and traveling the world with her husband.
JENNY CHENG | OPERATIONS MANAGER
Jenny is well-versed in the needs of a startup having worked at two startups prior to joining Bucket. She has focused her time contributing to and supporting the team while managing all facets of a successful business. Her experience has been in data analytics, marketing, and business operations. She oversees and manages the daily operations of Bucket.

Daniel is a proven leader in developing sales and alliance partnerships on a global scale. His entrepreneurial spirit and his passion for people, culture and impact has given him decades of experience in building and managing decentralized teams, leveraging outsourced talent, and forging strategic partnerships globally. He has developed revenue and growth solutions to multiple industries in over 24 countries, including social enterprise, creative arts, supply chain, EdTech and FinTech. He frequently speaks to organizations and corporations about the impact and power of relationship building.
In his spare time, he enjoys good coffee, the outdoors and spending time with his wife and daughter.
RYAN COYNE | POS INTEGRATIONS DEVELOPER
Ryan is a mobile application engineer focusing on native application development, with a specialization on iOS and Android platforms. He studied Computer Engineering at University of Maryland Eastern Shore and just recently graduated in May of 2016.
Ryan was a dedicated gymnast from age 2 to 17 and still enjoys to work out in his free time, specifically cycling, boxing and TRX exercises.
