FRANCIS HWANG | PRESIDENT & CO-FOUNDER

Francis has over a decade of experience in creating, launching, and managing successful businesses. Having always gravitated towards enterprises and ideas that question and disrupt the status quo, it was a natural step for Francis to start Bucket Technologies. Coming up with the concept for Bucket over 10 years ago, Francis finally set aside other ventures to focus and commit to his mission of eliminating coins and alleviating the environmental and governmental stresses from the production, distribution, and management of coin currency.

 

Francis recently moved to Bentonville, Arkansas and when he isn’t working or traveling for Bucket you will find him off-roading with his wife Kristine in the Ozarks.

DANIEL KAM | CO-FOUNDER

Daniel is a successful entrepreneur who has launched and built several businesses in the technology, managed services, manufacturing, and hospitality/F&B industries. He has over 20 years of B2B/B2C sales and marketing experience within various commercial sectors including cloud-commerce, telecommunications, and graphic arts. Daniel regularly speaks and networks with leading companies and organizations on topics such as leadership, innovation, branding, and operations management.

 

When Daniel is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 girls, cooking or going after big fish (literally, not metaphorically).

CHARLES LEE | ADVISOR

Charles is CEO at Ideation, an idea-making company that specializes in helping brands scale their business by effectively integrating their strategic plans into day-to-day implementation. Several brands including Google, TOMS, Toyota, Caterpillar, and ONE Campaign/(RED) have benefited from Ideation’s work. He is also the author of Good Idea. Now What?: How to Move Ideas to Execution, a practical book designed to help people move ideas to implementation. JACK L. KARAVICH | ADVISOR

Jack is joining us from Walmart where he founded and led Walmart Labs Design, which is responsible for creating the associate experiences used by their 2.2 million employees across their vast network of stores and distribution centers. Prior to Walmart, he was at Capital One leading enterprise design operations. Jack was a member of the world-renowned Adaptive Path design practice and supported their post-acquisition integration into the Capital One Design organization. He started his tenure at Capital One managing the digital clickstream analytics team.

 

Jack has served as an organizational change expert for digital operations and product delivery teams at Freddie Mac, Lowes.com, United Negro College Fund, TIAA-CREF, and Comedy Central. He also managed tactical information systems delivery teams across four continents for the United States Department of Defense, United States Navy, and NATO C4I. Jack began his career at Bank of America, where he managed the delivery of design and development for Capital Markets and Wholesale Banking Technology.

 

He received a BS in Physics from Georgetown University and a MBA from Tulane University.

MAC LING | MANAGING DIRECTOR, ASIA

A technology and marketing executive who has lived throughout Asia and the United States, Mac Ling has over 15 years of experience leading organizations in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments.

 

He spent six years with Sprint Corporation (www.sprint.com), as a member of their Staff Associate Leadership Development Program rotating through a number of product marketing, strategy, and product management roles.  His final role before moving to Asia in 2012 was General Manager of Wireless Data and eCommerce for Boost Mobile.

 

Mac has a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego in Cognitive Science, and an M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He is a certified Advanced Master Coach and a certified Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Executive Coach.  Mac is also a registered consultant for the UNDP Asia-Pacific Leadership Consultancy.

WANDA SHAPIRO | HEAD OF PRODUCT

After a decade working at digital agencies, Wanda brings a complete product life-cycle perspective to the Bucket Technologies team. She is a well-seasoned senior technical project manager and a passionate technologist who has pitched in as everything from a QA tester to an information architect over the years. Wanda specializes in finding creative solutions to technical problems, and her background includes development management across a wide array of platforms, application types and third-party integrations. Having worked with everything from not-for-profits to enterprise-level ubiquitous brands, such as Dole and Foot Locker/Eastbay.  Wanda has become an expert in projects requiring complicated custom development which makes her perfectly suited for her role at Bucket Technologies.

 

Wanda has a B.A. in English and Political Science from Pace University and has published two novels.

FRANCINE LEODOLTER | DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Francine brings 12 years of experience in overall marketing strategy and tactical implementation. She has worked on online properties such as www.Edmunds.com, www.FIJIWater.com, and www.ACMoore.com where she was in charge of all SEO/SEM related marketing, directing and creating content for emails, blogs, social media posts, viral video production and banner advertising. Francine has also overseen several offline marketing projects which included, magazine advertisements, billboards, event marketing, sponsorships and mailers.

 

Francine has a B.S. in International Marketing from American University and is a certified SEO/SEM Marketer. When Francine is not working at her computer she enjoys hiking in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, rooting for her hometown Boston Red Sox and traveling the world with her husband.
