Autograph Company is an NFT platform that aims to fuse iconic brands and well-known names from sports, entertainment and culture into digital collectibles. Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady co-founded the Los Angeles-based project that was unveiled in mid-April.
Brady recently showed his appreciation for Bitcoin, and he and his wife, Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen, recently signed a long-term contract with the FTX crypto exchange. On July 21, Autograph announced that it has partnered with entertainment company Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) and digital sports company Draftkings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG).
Derek Jeter, Naomi Osaka, Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods and Wayne Gretzky are founding partners of Autograph, and the popular athletes also have exclusive multi-year NFT deals with the company.

In a separate announcement, Draftkings announced the launch of its own digital collectibles ecosystem that will offer NFT drops and aftermarket transactions.
Draftkings will support Autograph’s official listing of non-fungible token assets. All sports-related, officially licensed Autograph NFT content will be distributed via the upcoming Draftkings Marketplace. Dillon Rosenblatt, co-founder and CEO of Autograph, said the company wanted to bring digital value to users.
“Autograph brings users closer to the world’s most iconic sports and entertainment icons by working hand in hand with our partners to co-produce exclusive digital collections and experiences that cannot be found anywhere else,” Rosenblatt said in a statement.
Lionsgate will launch Autograph’s vertical entertainment line of NFTs, which will feature iconic TV shows and iconic films. Autograph and Lionsgate will initially focus on franchises such as the films “Dirty Dancing”, “Mad Men”, “John Wick”, “Hunger Games” and the “Twilight” saga.
“NFTs offer a tremendous opportunity for mixed reality world building experiences,” said Jenefer Brown, EVP and head of Lionsgate Global Live. “Increasing user engagement and interaction and nurturing a community for our hundreds of millions of consumers worldwide to create unique digital collections, and Autograph is the ultimate target for this discovery.”
